Just a few weeks back we showed you the new swimwear collection by Marcuse (if you missed that post you can see it here). Today we are delighted to show you one more set of images, a new campaign from the Australian mens swimwear and underwear brand. The photographer is one of our favourites, Russell Fleming and the model is Daniel Kairouz. The swimwear featured are from the Beachy, Flash, Iceberg and Vamper lines. The weather has been a bit depressing here today so we thought a bit of Australian sun on our screens will do us all good!

Enjoy!

New Basics Collection of underwear by Obviously

Australian underwear brand Obviously released a new Basics Collection of underwear, introducing at the same time the Originals range as an addition to their Premium, EveryMan and Modal ranges. The new Basics collection comprises eight styles in total (Boxer briefs with 9 inch and 3 inch leg, briefs, hipster trunks, hipster briefs, bikini briefs, thongs and jockstraps) in four classic colours: White, black, grey and graphite. The main focus of Obviously for this new collection was the pouch design. They have created the AnatoMAX™pouch which is the largest pouch ever released from this brand and among the most spacious ones we have ever seen. The fabric used for all the new styles is a blend of MicroModal and Lycra combining softness and comfort with stretch and good fit.
Design-wise the Basics collection is minimalistic, with matching and contrasting waistbands featuring the original logo of the brand. The eight styles cover, more or less, every classic style underwear you have in mind so it appeals to every man.
In conduction with the release of the AnatoMAX™pouch, Obviously has rebranded their former "naked" styled pouch to AnatoFREE™.

Enjoy below the promotional campaign of Obviously for their Basics Collection of underwear and make sure you visit their website to see all the designs.

Australian underwear, beachwear and sportswear brand (and sister brand of 2EROS) SUPAWEAR has just released the new Supacharge collection. The brand which is known for creating very vibrant underwear designs is challenging again the colour boundaries and creates yet another fully coloured or we should better say, electrifying, collection!
The Supacharge comprises briefs, trunks and jocks in two colourways: Thunder (Teal and orange) and Lightning (Yellow and pink). The fabric is a cotton/elastane blend and the pouch is single lined. The inspiration of the designs came from the stylings and form fits of the late 70s to early 80s.
Enjoy the campaign below and check out all the new designs on their website.

New Maskulo wrestling singlets at Jockstrap Central

Russian brand Maskulo and the guys at Jockstrap Central seem determined to turn this blog into NSFW. Their most recent range of wrestling signets, exclusively available in North America at Jockstrap Central must be one of the most revealing we have ever seen! We really struggled to find photos you can see at work and which, at the same time, can give you the full design elements. You can see in the shots below model Mick posing in them but, believe us, there is a lot more to see on the Canadian retailer's website. Just make sure no one else is watching your screen!
Maskulo's new wrestling singlet main features are the open back and the removable cod piece. They come in three colours (white, red and blue) with black piping and inner leg stripes. They are made from a stretchy spandex which gives you the feeling of a second skin. There is double stitching and all come with a complete extra set of hardware (snaps), so expect a very good quality of manufacturing and endurance.
Maskulo is all about creating fetish fashion or even better bringing fetish into fashion. They are clearly inspired by fetishwear bringing it though into a broader market. Their garments are really very interesting and are made to make you feel sexy... and it works!

Tommy John - Fall 2015 underwear collection

Today we will show you the new collection and introduce you at the same time to Tommy John. The American mens underwear brand was founded in 2008 with a focus on premium, comfortable designs. If you live in the USA you may have come across their designs in Nordstrom. Tommy John was founded by Tom Patterson, a former medical device salesman, who got fed up with the way his underwear and underskirt fit so he decided to create his own designs.
The brand has, very recently, released its Fall 2015 collection, Second Skin Platinum, which comprises briefs, trunks, boxer briefs and boxer shorts in a range of colours. The garments in this collection are all made from a micro modal and spandex blend. This fabric is lightweight and extremely soft, with a silky feel to it. The addition of spandex to the blend offers a nice fit on the body.
The main design features of Tommy John underwear is the contour pouch and the vertical fly. The pouch has a central seam from about three quarters down which will give some extra space compared to a flat pouch. The vertical fly brings us in mind the HO1 style by HOM. It's a nicely designed and fully functional fly which gives a modern feel to the garments.
We like a lot the colours we saw in the new collection and how nicely they are combined with their black waistbands. There is also a nice touch of colour at the top of the waistband which compliments in a great way the overall look of the garments. You can find below some shots of the products but we strongly recommend you visit the brand's website and see all the colours and cuts available.

Lets see what the founder says about the launch of JockUp:
I started from scratch with basically a name and the general idea to create masculine underwear that I would like to wear. It has been fun to watch the project evolve and develop into a brand that I'm really proud of. Like anything that looks easy, it was more work than I anticipated which makes all the positive feedback just that much more enjoyable. People are really liking what JockUp is about.

Modus Vivendi releases the Weekly Line of underwear

Greek mens underwear brand Modus Vivendi has just released a new line of underwear called Weekly Line. This line s the first that the brand will be presenting from their new, Trends Lines for Fall/Winter 2015-16. So far we have seen some limited edition lines which Modus Vivendi calls "Flash Lines". You probably remember those stunning campaigns with model Alexandros Kaltsidis!
The new campaign for the Weekly line was photographed by hugely talented, visionary photographer Joan Crisol and the model presenting this campaign is the stunning Konstantin Kamynin (aka Kirill Dowidoff). Certainly one of the best underwear campaigns we have seen this year, combining creativity and sensuality in a beautiful way. The shoot took place in Madrid, the capital of Spain where Joan Crisol shot outdoors, in sharp, defining sunlight, playing with mirrors to create reflections of this hyper busy city. The Russian model is looking amazing in the new underwear of Modus Vivendi. Check out the arousing backstage video (embedded after the photos) to see him posing and staying calm in the busiest of locations wearing just his underwear.
The new Weekly line by Modus Vivendi comprises briefs and boxers, in seven colours. The underwear is made of the best quality cotton (95%) with a touch of elastane (5%) for a perfect fit. The Weekly Line is designed to stay comfortable in any situation and all day long, no matter how busy your life is or how intense your activity: sporty cuts, soft fabric, double ply contour pouch, elasticated waistbands and eco-friendly, natural dyes.

Enjoy the campaign, in full, below!

Fit Corner: My 3 go to exercises for leg thickness

$

By Maurice Bright for Men and Underwear

Ever since I thoroughly injured my knees 2 months ago, I haven’t been in a squat rack since, but I still wanted to maintain my leg size. I’ve adjusted a few exercises in my weekly leg routine and recently found that these 3 exercises in particular have helped me maintain fullness and density below the waist. I’m more than happy to share such moves with you all as well as include my typical approaches :) ~

Fit Corner: 3 go to exercises for leg thickness

  1. Quad curls (aka leg extensions)– I’ve been a fan of quad curls for eons now but didn’t really get deep into programming with them until they replaced barbell squats as my lead off to leg day. Now, quad curls of course hits the quadriceps, but I feel there’s a way you can get more bang for your buck here. When performing quad curls, focus intently on feeling out the movement as the weight ascends and descends with the help of your legs. Rushing through reps with this exercise will amount to less stimulation in my opinion and that’s the exact opposite of the desired. I keep my repetitions high (20-15) and my sets at 4, also be sure to choose a weight that you can manage but challenges you reasonably.
  2. Single leg hamstring curls– These are to be performed on the quad curl (aka leg extension) machine, except you’ll be facing the area that you would usually sit on and curl back with each leg respectively into the pad provided. I feel this move is phenomenal for hitting the hamstrings because of the constant tension and the shortened distance which provides more emphasis to the hamstring itself. With this exercise, I keep my repetitions the highest (30-25) and my sets are tapered at just 3 given such high thresholds. The weight used in this exercise will be very similar to the weight used in quad curls. As you move among each single leg hamstring curl, keep your back as straight as possible and really curl that weight. This is how I get the most out of this particular exercise each Thursday.
  3. Dumbbell squats– I may not be ready to get back into a squat rack but darn it I still want to squat, thus I’ve been living vicariously through dumbbell squats. Dumbbell squats are honestly not as bad as I thought they would be and they even give me more of a “personal” feel when I’m working my legs. This is yet another exercise that I’ve been taking it slow in regards to movement – the repetitions here are not too high (15-12) and run a set of 4 which usually pyramids down to about 10 reps to finish. I perform these with a moderate amount of weight on the dumbbells, nothing too heavy though. Not only does this activity work your legs but it also helps with overall balance, so shoutout to all my clumsy folk out there! Haha.
