In case you missed our previous post about the new collection (with a couple of fab pictures of Todd in his new underwear) we were saying that this is one of the most anticipated underwear collections of the year.
Just like in the previous collections of the brand you will find a limited number of designs. This one consists of briefs, boxers and jockstraps in three colours (black, white and light blue).

The Spanish giant, ES collection is certainly one of the brands with the most sexy underwear (and swimwear) campaigns in the world. In a few days we are expecting the release of the official campaign for the brand's 2014 swimwear. The campaign will have the title "Thai". By following the brand's social media accounts quite closely in the last few days we came across some "review" pictures from this campaign and we were not disappointed by what we saw. Check out below the first preview pictures from the campaign featuring three incredibly hot models (we spotted Roman Davidoff among them) posing in ES's new swimwear and stay tuned as we will publish the whole campaign when it is officially out. It seems we are having some more athletes being involved with the male underwear industry. The latest example is the collaboration of the internationally renowned footballer, Didier Drogba, who has signed an exclusive deal with HOM to create a unique range of men’s underwear and beachwear.
As with all Didier’s commercial projects, his aim is to give back to his home country, so a percentage of every sale will go to the Didier Drogba Foundation, whose main aim is to provide education and healthcare in Ivory Coast.
The first collection (containing 18 pieces) will be released in May 2014 and will be designed by Ivory Coast couturier Ellie Kuame and HOM. The focus of the new collection will be mainly comfort but will follow at the same time the latest trends in the industry. The collection will be stocked at selected retailers globally.

According to HOM, the collaboration was one based on a mutual desire to create an exciting new men’s underwear line and to make an ethical impact in Africa.
Didier is no stranger to giving back to his community and in 2010 was voted amongst the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME magazine for his fearless campaigning to bring about peace during his country’s civil war in 2006.
Didier Drogba says of the partnership with HOM: “By producing my own line of underwear I’m able to achieve two goals; to design a fashionable men’s underwear range, and to create a product that will directly support my charitable foundation – to aid in healthcare and education in the Ivory Coast.”
Managing Director of HOM, Regine Weimar, says: “We are thrilled to be able to partner with Didier Drogba, to create not only an exceptionally creative product, but also create a product that will have a positive social impact. The collaboration will directly support the Didier Drogba Foundation and the important work they do in the region.”

Today's underwear review is of the Croota boxer briefs. The pair we tried on was supplied to us by Croota. We have already published our opinion about the Australian brand's designs and exciting patterns and we were dying to try a couple of pairs. The guys were very kind to send us two pairs to try and we were so happy to see that we were right about Croota all along.

Great design, great comfort. It was a real pleasure to try a pair of boxer briefs by Croota. The brand is all about exciting patterns and designs. We have 
in the past featured other exciting lines on our Men and Underwear blog, such as the Snowy Mountain line, so bold as to be virtually mood enhancing! Croota certainly offers something different. Their boxer briefs are designed to perfection. Nice strong stitching, colours that don't fade in the wash and designs that maintain their shape all day long. One more strong point is the roomy pouch and the brand's trademark triple seam at the back, which gives their underwear a great fit. The boxer briefs by Croota passed our test with flying colours. Totally recommended. Your only problem will be choosing the style you like best - there are so many!

Some extra details

Fabric: Cotton and elastane blend. The fabric is lightweight, very soft, and feels extremely comfortable against the skin. Colourful, elasticated waistbands with Croota logo label.

Fit: The fit is extremely good: Roomy pouch. Triple seam at the back. Very comfortable.

Manufacturing: A few loose threads but no misaligned details. The panels are cut with extreme precision. Strong stitching. Label with washing instructions.

The list of celebrities launching their own male underwear brands and lines just keeps on growing! The latest addition is Chris Salvatore. The American actor, singer, song writer, model and gay rights activist announced on his official Facebook page that he is about to launch the Chris Salvatore underwear brand.
He has already released a preview video which you can see here:



The underwear line is going to be launched soon. You can go to the brand's website and subscribe to their newsletter and be notified when the new underwear will become available, or you can stay tuned to our blog as we will post a feature when the first collection is out.

In the video above we can see an interesting pair of black and white briefs but unfortunately that's all we know for now, apart from the fact that the underwear is going to be made in the USA.

We were pleasantly surprised yesterday to receive a press release by a new (to us) underwear brand named Tani. The brand, or better the company behind the brand has a history of 25 years in the market. They started as underwear manufacturers for some big brand names such as DSquared and Hugo Boss.  About 10 years ago the Tani underwear brand was born to address the growing demand for high quality male underwear in China. We spoke briefly with the resident of Tani USA, Adam Dinkes, as we needed to know a few more things about this brand.

The French underwear brand HOM has just released a backstage video from their shoot for the campaign of their line Heritage. The line is a perfect example of what HOM stands for: masculine designs offering great comfort. The line features a "retro" style with some of the items having buttons. Andrew Christian has done it again! They have just released a new video called "Candy Pop" with some super sexy models (including Andrew Christian himself, who seems to be working out quite a lot recently), kissing, licking, dancing and even twerking (!).
